PITTSFIELD, Mass. - The Berkshire Historical Society invites you to take a stroll through historic Pittsfield Cemetery on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, and meet some of the area’s most colorful characters from the past.
Brought to life in a script by J. Peter Bergman, “City Plots” will introduce such notables as Pittsfield Historian J.E.A. Smith-played by Charles Wright, and Mary Agnes Pomeroy Barlett, wife of Civil War hero, General William Francis Bartlett, played by Diane Arduini.
Others in the cast include Sally Filkins, Rolinde Albrecht, and Thomas Towne. The tour will meet inside the gates of the Cemetery at 203 Wahconah Street and will begin promptly at 6:00 P.M..
Admission is $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children. Tickets are available at the gate or call 413-442-1793, x11. Comfortable shoes are suggested.
