PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Chapters Bookstore, located at 78 North St. and Kay Canavino Photography present a Street Photography Workshop on Tuesday September 22 and Tuesday September 29, from 6-8PM.
Street photography is a style adopted by such important photographers as Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, and Cartier-Bresson. It is a spontaneous, candid and intuitive way to shoot, and the workshop will help those who seek to loosen up to shoot more freely.
Join photographer Kay Canavino as you explore the streets of Pittsfield. Students will then review their work on their laptop computers with the class. (Film shooters are welcome, but digital cameras will provide immediate feedback.) The fee is $60.00 for both sessions. Call 413-743-4844 for more information and to register.
The instructor, Kay Canavino, is a Berkshire commercial and fine art photographer. She has taught photography at MCLA, Wellesley College, and the Commonwealth School in Boston. www.kaycanavino.com.
