NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The MCLA Athletics Department announced its 13th Annual Golf Classic has a full field of 144 golfers. The tournament will be held Monday, September 21 at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield.
This year the Golf Committee honors alumni Jane and John Allen for their commitment to excellence and education at MCLA and in Berkshire County. Mrs. Allen chairs the MCLA Board of Trustees and Mr. Allen was head coach of the Mt. Greylock High School football team for 35 years.
The tournament will kick off September 21 with a barbeque lunch at 11a.m., followed by the shotgun start. A banquet dinner honoring Mr. and Mrs. Allen will be held after the tournament. A raffle and a silent auction will be conducted throughout the day.
