Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Berkshire Health Systems is now offering a new Cancer Resource and Support Group for adults who have cancer and for their families and loved ones. The new Cancer Resource and Support Group will meet monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at Berkshire Medical Center.
The next meeting of the Cancer Resource and Support Group will be held on Wednesday, October 14th from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the Radiation Oncology Department at BMC.
Berkshire Health Systems will also present a public educational program with a cancer specialist or expert on a subsequent Wednesday each month. The next cancer education program will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd, also from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the Radiation Oncology Department, featuring a lecture by Dr. Wade Gebara, Medical Director of the Cancer Institute of the Berkshires at BMC, on Understanding Radiation Therapy. The educational programs are free and open to the public.
