NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Robin O’Herin, a local blues artist will perform a free concert at the North Adams Public Library Thursday, October 8 at 6 PM.
Robin O'Herin plays traditional delta and country blues, gospel, finger style guitar and original folk-blues/gospel. She is a 2009 Telluride Blues Finalist and was a 2006 Memphis Blues Challenge finalist and the headline act in the World Resophonic Blues Festival in the Czech Republic fall '05. She played the Tropea Blues Fest in '06 and was a '07 CT Flues Challenge Finalist. She has licensed music to PBS's Road trip Nation.
The performance will include "Bottleneck blues, Gospel, and lots of strong folk originals from O¹Herin, who accompanies her Appalachian edged, rein-free vocals with some creative, dancing fingerpickin" Sing Out.
The concert is free and open to the public.
