Mammography Dispute The government's issued controversial new guidelines stating that women shouldn't get annual mammograms until age 50, rather than age 40.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Department of Community Development Pittsfield Parks and Recreation Program has announced its first Community Bike Ride event. The free, family ride will take place Saturday, October 17 beginning at 10:00 am leaving from the Controy Pavilion at Burbank Park. Rider registration begins at 9:00 am.
This 6-mile ride will travel to the Pittsfield State Forest and return back to the pavilion along the same roads. Younger riders are welcome and are encouraged to ride the trail along the lake within Burbank Park. Children 16 and under are required to wear a helmet to participate, but all participants are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet.
Biking related information will be available, and there will be a drawing with prizes for ride participants following the event. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Bartlett’s Orchard, Big Y, & Guido’s Fresh Marketplace. Rain date is October 24.
