PITTSFIELD, Mass. - ClickBasics, an internet marketing and web analytics company, will present a free workshop, "The New Rules of Growing Your Business” on Wednesday, November 18, 10 am to 12 noon. Geared for a non-technical business audience, the workshop will be presented by Paul Carter, founder of ClickBasics, Lenox, MA, at the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, 75 North Street, Pittsfield.Participants will learn basic concepts and receive practical guidance helping buyers find solutions to their problems online. Originally presented in an abbreviated form to a full house at a recent Berkshire Enterprises Breakfast Forum, the newly expanded, highly interactive workshop will begin by offering participants a new way to think about their web businesses and the internet. Using a case history format, Carter will demonstrate how the new rules of the internet can be applied to time-tested business and marketing principles to result in increased leads from qualified prospects, reduced shopping cart abandonments, and ultimately, make the difference between good and great results.
According to Steve Fogel, Program Director at Berkshire Enterprises/Berkshire Community College, "Paul Carter makes a technical analysis of web site use comprehensible…He offers a lot of information in a manageable, understandable format. Anyone with a website can learn from his presentation, and start thinking of ways to improve the way that they communicate with their customers."
The new second section is about measuring the site’s success. In it Carter teaches participants which portions of a web site are central to marketing and how to measure performance for stated objectives. Carter’s goal is to help website owners make their online business presence pay off.
Paul Carter was webmaster at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health for 10 years. During his years of managing Kripalu’s website, online sales grew by over 800%. He then founded ClickBasics where he offers internet marketing and web analytics services. His specialty is aligning organizations’ internet activities with business goals.
