BENNINGTON, VT. - Project Against Violent Encounters (PAVE) is pleased to announce the winner of its Quilt Raffle fundraiser. Norma Will of Manchester Center, Vermont won an original full-sized quilt handcrafted by artisan Marge Costello.
PAVE gratefully acknowledges the efforts of the Bennington Book Shop, the Better Bennington Corporation Welcome Center, and the South Street Café for selling tickets and displaying the quilt for us.
Moreover, we extend our thanks to the religious communities, including the Second Congregational Church and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Bennington, the East Arlington Federated Church, and the First Congregational Church and Zion Episcopal Church in Manchester, for welcoming PAVE representatives to speak about services and for their assistance with ticket sales.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help provide services for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual assault. As always, anyone needing PAVE’s emergency services may call the 24-hour hotline at 802-442-2111.
