The annual North Adams tree lighting is set for Thursday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 at Monument Square.
Tree Lighting
The approximately half-hour ceremony beginning at Thursday, Dec. 3, at 5:30 will feature the lighting of the Christmas trees at Monument Square and next to City Hall, followed by the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Drury High School band, directed by Christopher Caproni, will perform; vocalist Diane Maynard will sing seasonal carols. Going Hungry

Kick the Habit
Reach for Community Health will promote the Great American Smokeout on Thursday, Nov. 19, to encourage smokers to kick the habit. Information: 413-664-5567.
Stop for a Bite
The Drury Drama Team, under the direction of Dr. Len Radin, will present "Dracula" at 7 p.m on Nov. 19, 20 and 21 at Drury High School. Admission $5 for students, $9 for adults.
Little Work
The Eclipse Mill Gallery at 243 Union St. will present "Holiday Small Works" from Nov. 20 through Dec. 20. Curated by glass artist Isabella Raven, the exhibition opens with a reception on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m.
Choir Concert
First Congregational Church will host a concert featuring the Bay Path College Choirs on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. The concert, directed by Scott Bailey, will feature Advent and Christmas music that will be presented by the choirs at a choral festival in the city of Prague in the Czech Republic during the week of Thanksgiving. MoCA Market
