ADAMS, Mass. — Town officials will wait five more days before opening the bids for the $2 million infrastructure project at the Greylock Glen.
The town has $4 million worth of paving and utilities installation planned for the Glen and the state kicked in $2 million from the supplemental budget bill to get things rolling. The work includes excavation, paving, water, sewer, electrical and gas improvements and drainage on Thiel and Gould roads.
Bids were due on Friday but Director of Community Development Donna Cesan said they have pushed back the deadline until April 4 because some of the contractors had additional questions. On March 12, town officials held a site visit with contractors to go over the project.

Why don't they get a casino up there, seems like Adams is the only town around trying to get things done and a casino would bring so much to this area and its in a good location with all the surrounding states and communities of people the enjoy these facilities. Good work Adams, you have the knowhow.
