PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Disability Pride Day Committee will host its 13th annual Legislative Breakfast on Friday, April 12, at Itam Lodge. This event is a forum for individuals with disabilities and their families, as well as support organization staff members.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by introductory remarks at 7:45 a.m. and the legislative forum at 8 a.m.
State Sen. Benjamin Downing, state Reps. Gailanne Cariddi, William "Smitty" Pignatelli, Paul Mark and Tricia Farley-Bouvier, North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright, Pittsfield Mayor Daniel L. Bianchi, and Janet LaBreck, commissioner of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, are scheduled to participate in this event.
The $9 price to attend includes a continental breakfast of fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, coffee, tea and juice.
