The Sweetback Sisters triumphantly return to MCLA for our annual Holiday Concert sing along. The rollicking country swing of the Sweetback Sisters is as infectious as it is heartbreaking. Their charismatic charm harkens back to the golden era of both the silver screen cowgirl and the ersatz cowboy stars. The group will have everyone singing along to their upbeat Honky Tonk remakes of Christmas classics in no time.

AP Home Décor & Eat To Total Health have teamed up and decided to have a little block party. So if you have been meaning to make your way into either of our stores or are a regular, we are ready to entertain you!! AP Home Décor & More will be giving out small gifts at the door (all hand crafted of course!) and will also have a "Meet & Greet" with the artisans in the store. Eat To Total Health will be doing Smoothie Tastings have a movie playing – with complimentary popcorn. Tanya's Country Kitchen will be set up doing sampling of her jams and jellies. Her goodies can be found in both stores!

The renowned Sundance Institute Theatre Program returns to MASS MoCA with its fall musical and ensemble Theatre Lab. Sharing MASS MoCA's mission to foster the production of new art, the Lab offers workshop support to playwrights, directors, composers, and librettists. Led by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the extended residency provides guidance in the development of new works for the stage. The residency culminates with a work-in-progress public showing of First Daughter Suite, a new work by Tony Award-nominated composer and lyricist Michael John LaChiusa, directed by Kirsten Sanderson.

Saunter on down to MCLA Gallery 51 on Tuesday, December 10th and catch some performances from MCLA's own talented stock! A FREE house concert that in part will help benefit the Friendship Center Food Pantry, attendees are encouraged to bring either cash or non-perishables items for donation.

Featuring the tripartite explosion of talent, MCLA student Tiniqua Patrick will open the night, followed by the Bershire Cultural Resource Center's own Program Coordinator, Jen Crowell, as well as the band Show of Cards, fronted by MCLA Professor Karen Cardozo.
