Click here for more information Join us for Rock the Block 2.0! Headlining the community block party will be the Berkshire-based EDM group Barely Alive. There will also be performances by Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) student clubs such as the Allegrettos, Nexus, Dance Company, local bands, flash mobs, carnival activities, zumba, poetry lessons, musical chairs, local restaurants, community organizations, and much more all day long. |

BECK Click here for more information In the twenty years since "Loser” hit the charts and introduced the world to an ironic poet of breathtaking musical range, BECK has become one of the most creative and idiosyncratic voices in 21st century music of any genre, mixing influences as disparate as hip-hop, anti-folk, and hi-fi funk into a sound completely his own. Two of his albums appear in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, four have hit platinum, and his just released Morning Phase, is among his best. MASS MoCA is his only New England stop on this tour. |

Arts, Culture and the Economy—One Year Later Click here for the Facebook Event Page One year ago many gathered together at the old Firehouse in Adams and engaged in a discussion of how the Arts can not only improve the quality of life in a region, but serve as an economic driver. Those in attendance expressed a desire to take action individually and collectively to promote change and to continue the discussion. So, a year later with updates from our State Representative and others, as well as thoughts, suggestions and ideas, on how we can continue to move forward to unify Northern Berkshire's cultural assets, creative arts, and businesses and tourism organizations to aid the region's survival and future sustainability. |
