Shuli Sadé is a New York based multi-disciplinary artist who works across a range of mediums including photography, video, and installation. Using nighttime cityscapes as the impetus of her visual vocabulary, Sadé’s work investigates time and memory, as well as the boundaries between two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. On the occasion of her exhibition at Independent Art Projects, we invited Shuli to discuss the role cross-pollinate influences play in her work, discover the behind-the-scene of her installations, and where she’s headed next.
