Adams Community Bank Accepting Donations for Sonsini Shelter

ADAMS, Mass. — Adams Community Bank will once again partner with the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter to support its efforts in helping homeless animals this winter.   

The Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter is a municipal shelter located in Pittsfield. It is dedicated to reuniting stray animals with their owners, providing veterinary care for animals in need, and finding loving homes for adoptable, homeless animals.

The bank invites residents to join it in helping the shelter with needed supplies such as dry dog food, canned and dry cat food, liquid hand soap and non-scoopable cat litter.

Donations are being accepted at each of the bank's seven convenient branch locations in Adams, Cheshire, Lanesborough, Lee, North Adams and Williamstown. A full list of needs is available in each of the branch lobbies or on the bank's Facebook page.

Adams Community Bank is an independent, community savings bank located in the Berkshires. Incorporated in 1869, it the institution has approximately $400 million in assets.
