Kindergarten, Pre-K Registration Set in North Adams

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The North Adams Public Schools will hold  kindergarten and pre-K registration and screening  on April 30 and May 1 at the Johnson School Building Second Floor, 21 Williams St., by scheduled appointments between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

To schedule an appointment for kindergarten registration, call the LINCS Parent Center at 413-664-7512. Children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 to register for kindergarten.

Children who are 4 years old by Aug. 31 can register for pre-K.  To schedule an appointment for pre-K  registration and screening call the Pre-K Program at 413-664-4159. Parents of a 3 year old who have a concern about a suspected disability can also call .

Parents will need to bring the child to registration and screening, along with copies of the child's immunizations, an updated physical and the child’s birth certificate. In addition, for pre-K registration, proof of residency such as a household bill is also required.
