Coughlan Leads Hoosac Past Drury in Giorgi League

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jameson Coughlan scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 60-55 win over Drury on Thursday in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.
 
Matt Koperniak backed up Coughlan with 14 points for the Hurricanes.
 
Drury was led by Hayden Bird with 18 points and 10 boards. Reece Racette scored 13, and Ryan Harrington had 11 with eight boards.
 
Bennington, Vt.'s, Mount Anthony Union defeated Berkshire Hoops, 53-50, in Thursday's other high school division game. Matt Anderson scored 20, and DAmon Burgess and Tyler Champagne had 18 and 15, respectively, for the Pariots.
 
Ethan Dean scored 11, and Terrick Boire had 10 for Berkshire Hoops.
 
In the women's divison, Cassie Lincoln and Kelsey Ouimet each scored eight to lead Tony's Electric/Flynn & Dagnoli to a 34-29 win over Mount Anthony.
 
That Pats were led by Abby Iannatti and Michalia Glandovsky with nine and eight, respectively.
