The Art of Conversation is series of facilitated discussions based around a contentious topic in an attempt to encourage people to examine their points of view more thoroughly, and as civilly as possible.

The Guidelines: In an attempt to maintain this open, unemotional discourse, a set of the following guidelines will be explained. No interruptions, except by the host for time keeping purposes.

Views can conflict, but we don't need to. No conjecture. Stick to what you know, don't make stuff up. We'll continue until there are no more participants willing to speak.

In 18th century Vienna, music is the currency of power. And Court Composer Antonio Salieri is the toast of the town. That is, until a young prodigy by the name of Mozart comes on the scene. Reeling from the realization of his own mediocrity in the face of true genius, Salieri swears vengeance on the God that gifted Mozart’s breathtaking talent. Swells of music and madness stir through Drury Stage Company’s epic new revival of the Tony and Academy Award-winning drama that raises the question: how far would you go to secure your legacy? Tickets available online or at the door.

The Next Step – Documentary KICKSTARTER
Contact - www.JoeAidonidis.com
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thenextstep/the-next-step-documentary
On August 2nd, 2008, a drunk driver slammed into Clara Gardner and pinned her against another car. The accident would take both of her legs above the knee and change her life forever. Joe Aidonidis and Augusta Rose, locally settled artists and arts advocates, as well as affiliates with Common Folk artist collective, have been documenting the process of rehabilitation and daily life for Ms. Gardner over the past few years, and have been focusing on her new potential surgery to make her prosthetics more comfortable and livable. Since it is not available in the United States, Clara will be traveling to Sydney, Australia to have this revolutionary surgery. The team will travel with her to document her surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation, as well as speak to doctors, professionals, and fellow amputees. This campaign will support our efforts by raising funds for travel, living accommodations, and other production expenses related to the trip.

Berkshire South Community Center is hosting a weekly group meeting, D.O.P.E. (Discussing Our Personal Experiences) for those dealing with or concerned about the epidemic of opioid abuse in the Southern Berkshires.  The group is a result of the work of Jennifer Wheeler, who started the Facebook group, D.O.P.E. in December of 2015, as a way of calling attention to the plague of heroin use and to provide a support community for those struggling with addiction.  Wheeler herself is recovering from a heroin addiction and believes that inclusivity of these meetings will promote positive solutions for people on the path to recovery. The group welcomes all to come and be a part of the discussions that we hope will be a catalyst for positive change for our community.
