Letter: Great care at BMC

Letters to the EditorPrint Story | Email Story

To the Editor:

On July 25th, I had major surgery at BMC. I want to thank everyone from the pre-op unit to the post-op unit on their attentive care.

A special thank you to Diane who came out every hour to keep my husband informed on how I was doing. I should also note that she does this for every person in the waiting room. She is a great asset to everyone waiting anxiously for information.

I also want to thank everyone on the 3rd floor surgical ward for their overwhelming personal care and kindness, they are on the go constantly.

I feel I need to praise my surgeon, Dr. Clayton Peterson and his surgical team on such a long and tedious job well done. He and his team are truly second to none. I want to give a special big thank you to all. I would highly recommend them and this hospital to anyone.

Berkshire Medical Center should be very proud of the staff they have at this hospital. We can only hope and pray that North Adams will have a hospital & staff someday like BMC.
