Southwestern Vermont Health Care Offers Yoga Classes for Cancer Survivors
BENNINGTON, Vt. — After a summer break, Southwestern Vermont Health Care has resumed a free weekly ongoing gentle yoga class for cancer survivors and members of their support teams.
Yoga classes are 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday in Conference Room C of the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, which is located at 100 Hospital Drive in Bennington. Participants will learn basic balancing postures, breathing, and visualization techniques for relaxation, stress reduction, flexibility, and strength. The class is presented by Ali Wassick and Jane Schaeffer of the Yoga Place in Bennington.
