SVHC Honors Employees with 2016 Putnam Awards
BENNINGTON, Vt. — Southwestern Vermont Health Care leaders and staff gathered Nov. 1 at the Mount Anthony Country Club to honor employees for their service to the organization's mission.
One award every year is presented for each of the organization’s five core values: quality, empathy, safety, teamwork, and stewardship. The employees who received the awards are noted standard bearers and role models within the organization.
The 2016 Putnam Award Honorees are: Lisa Jacobs, Physician Billing office manager, exceptional teamwork; Patricia Bradley, Corporate Compliance and Legal Services assistant, Dr. Richard Guerrero Safety Award; Ryan Booth, Information Systems desktop support specialist, empathy; Kathy Brandi, MSN, RN, clinical nurse specialist in Medical Surgical Services, quality; and Joy Bull, RN, Operating Room, stewardship.
The evening also honored those celebrating employment anniversaries. Many were honored for 10, 20 and 30 years of employment with SVHC. Fifteen employees were noted for 40 or more years of service, and Christine Bacon, who works in the lab, was honored for 51 years of service. Together, the group represented more than 1,400 years with the organization.
"The honorees we recognize tonight set the example for employees throughout our organization. Their longstanding commitment to our shared values makes Southwestern Vermont Health Care one of the finest health systems in New England," CEO Thomas Dee said.
