BFAIR Kicks Off Annual Campaign

Print Story | Email Story

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — BFAIR has kicked off its fifth annual giving campaign. The theme of the campaign is "ONE. ONE Mission. ONE Community. ONE Cause."

BFAIR offers assistance to adults living with developmental disabilities, children with autism, elders in their homes, men and women who have an acquired brain injury, providing services in their facilities, in individual homes, in businesses throughout the Berkshires.

BFAIR supports many different kinds of people in very different settings and stages. But even with all of the differences, ONE thing has always mattered – the mission. This year, BFAIR has launched a revised mission statement: To enrich the lives of people of all ages and abilities by providing life experiences and advocacy through distinctive, individualized, quality services.

In previous years, the campaign has topped $17,000 in donations. Patti Messina, campaign chair, is confident that this year's campaign will meet that mark.

"We have had such great support from family members of the individuals that we serve, friends of our organization, and our employees," Messina said. "The community has been fully supportive of all of our recent growth and presence throughout the Berkshires; I’m certain that support will be evident in this campaign."

This year's campaign will run through February 2017. Those interested in learning more about BFAIR or making a tax-deductible donation to the campaign can visit www.bfair.org.
