MountainOne Unifies Branding of Divisions

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — MountainOne Financial, the parent company of MountainOne Bank and three additional financial service divisions, has rebranded each of its divisions under the MountainOne name.

The rebranding includes a new blue and white logo, replacing the tan and white one that MountainOne has used for several years.

"For nearly two decades, the individual companies of MountainOne have worked together to successfully build a complete portfolio of banking, insurance, and investment services in the Berkshires and throughout our region," President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Fraser said. "In 2013, our banking division began using the MountainOne name, and it's now time for our insurance and investment divisions to take this important step, as well."

As of Jan. 1, 2017, MountainOne's insurance agencies, Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan & Collins and True North Insurance, have joined under the name MountainOne Insurance. Together, these agencies provide personal and business insurance, bonding services and group benefits solutions. Jonathan Denmark, who has been president and chief operating officer of CPDC, will be president and chief operating officer of MountainOne Insurance.

In addition, True North Financial, which provides individual investment services and group financial benefits plans, has become MountainOne Investments, with Linda Levesque continuing as chief operating officer.

According to Fraser, "By simplifying our identity under the MountainOne name, we not only clarify to our customers and to the public who we are, but we also express the value of the combined services we can provide. We are proud to be the only Berkshire County-based community bank offering comprehensive financial solutions under one roof."

CPDC has been serving clients in the Berkshires and surrounding region since 1927. In 1997, True North spun off from CPDC, as an independent firm that allowed both agencies to serve their customers with greater specialization. Denmark, who joined MountainOne in 2015, has been instrumental in bringing the insurance agencies together under one common name.

"We are maintaining the strong tradition of exceptional customer service these agencies have provided for so many years, while looking to the future and our growth together under the MountainOne name," said Denmark. "Customers were notified of the name change in mid-November, and there is nothing they need to do. The MountainOne staff will remain the same, and all MountainOne services will continue uninterrupted."
