Nurse Joins SVMC's Internal Medicine Practice

BENNINGTON, Vt. —The Internal Medicine practice at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center has welcomed Lisa Moulton, family nurse practitioner. With this appointment, Moulton also joins the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Medical Group. 

Since 2014, Moulton worked with hospice patients for both Bayada Hospice and Vermont/New Hampshire Visiting Nurses. Previously, she worked for SVMC’s Mountain Medical Clinic in Dover, Vt., and as a research nurse for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Moulton received her master's in nursing from Graceland University in Missouri and her registered nursing credential from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Massachusetts. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

SVMC Internal Medicine provides primary care for patients 18 years and older. The practice is designated as a patient-centered medical home with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Blueprint for Health, which means they offer access to a dietitian, a diabetes educator, and others right in the office.
