LENOX, Mass. -- Tom Keefe won the Lenox Apple Squeeze 5-mile race with a time of 30 minutes, 13 seconds on Sunday morning.
Keefe, 36, maintained a pace of 9.9 mph to edge Nick Curelop, who finished in 30:53.
The first woman over the finish line and the fourth-place finisher overall was Kate Sanders in 36:29.
Sixty-two runners completed the 5-miler, one of several road races held Sunday in conjunction with the annual townwide weekend harvest festival.
Joey Wein won the 5K, finishing in 21:31. He was followed across the finish line by Meghan Behrent (23:00) and 28 other finishers.
The Apple Squeez kids mile run title went to Raymond Pixley, 14, who finished in 7:09 to beat Owen Ames, 9, who ran a second-place time of 7:45.
The third-place finisher in the girls race was Josephina Pixley in 7:47.
The mile race drew 42 competitors, making 134 finishers combined for the three events.
