Mount Greylock Grad McComish Competes for Icelandic National Team
RIGA, Latvia -- Mount Greylock Regional School alumnus and Bates College rising junior Benni McComish recently competed for the Icelandic National Team at the European Team Squash Championships.
McComish, a former boys soccer standout with the Mounties, went 3-2 in his matches at the tournament, where Iceland went 3-3-1, beating Estonia, Latvia and Luxembourg.
At Bates this winter, he helped the Bobcats go 12-6 and finish in third place in the Summers Cup (D Division) at the season-ending College Squash Association Men's Team Nationals.
