Mauer Leads Team to OT Win in Giorgi League

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Brandon Mauer scored 22 points Monday to lead Fortitude Strength and Conditioning to a 50-45 overtime win over Alton & Westal Real Estate in the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.
Alex Heck scored 10 points to lead Alton & Westall.
In Monday's other game, Sedal Jones scored 18 to lead four players in double figures as Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli defeated Outlook Builders/Pizza House, 70-43.
Jamal Mungin and Dave Wellington added 16 and 12 points, apiece, and Lawrence Carrier had 11 points and nine rebounds in the win.
Deshawn Hamlett scored 14 points, and Khalil Paul had 10 for Outlook.
Play resumes Tuesday with two games at Noel Field starting at 6:30. Teddy's Pizza plays Williamstown Physical Therapy, and Tony's Electric/The Print Shop/Flynn & Dagnoli faces Moulton's Hearing Aids/Mingo's.
