NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The North Adams Youth Basketball League began play on Saturday with 10 games in five divisions.
 
Division 1 (3rd and 4th grade boys)
George Mason Patriots 16, UMass Minutemen 0
Patriots: Ethan Zapula eight points, Jorge Bond four points, Noah Arnold two points, Taryn Drye two points.
Bryant Bulldogs 16, VCU Rams 7
Bulldogs: Jameson Doyle 10 points, Craig Field four points, Maxwell Miller two points.
Rams: Chase George four points, JJ Prengruber two points, Colby Gelinas one point.
 
Juniors (3rd through 5th grade girls)
UConn Huskies 18, Memphis Tigers 10
Huskies: Gianna Jacobbe and Aliza Amoz with six points, Haven Winnie four points, Maddison Jalalian two points.
Tigers: Delaney Hayden four points, Madison Rougeau, Sloan Brothers and Ella Gaffey each with two points.
Wichita State Shockers 18, East Carolina Pirates 16
Shockers: Faith Brazeau scored all 18 points.
Pirates: Olivia Zoito six points, Jordan Chrisman four points, Autumn Chirsman, Anna Bond each Mia Girard each with two points.
 
Division 2 (5th and 6th grade boys)
Duke Blue Devils 23, North Carolina Tar Heels 10
Blue Devils: Sammy Moorman 12 points, Jayse Ellsworth six points, James Varellas five points.
Tar Heels: Zach Gelinas, Jayquan Vazquez, Andrew Meaney, Dylan Safford, and Noah Beliveau each with 2 points.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish 33, Boston College Eagles 4
Fighting Irish: Tim Morgan 12 points, Aiden Champney eight points, Conner Hinkell six points, Caleb Dennette four points, Rommel Alvarez two points, Aiden Tremblay one point.
Eagles Scoring: Bradley Chapman and Joe Potvin each scored points.
 
Seniors (6th through 8th grade girls)
Seattle Storm 24, Los Angeles Sparks 17
Storm: Madie Houghtaling eight points, Renae Gamari six points, Catryna Marsh five points, Riley Joy three points, Brooke Reynolds two points.
Sparks: Kalye Bushika 12 points, Faith Moran three points, Alyssa Russell two points.
Phoenix Mercury 24, Connecticut Sun 12
Mercury: Brooke Bishop and Izzy Moore with eight points, Khelslyn Hurlbut four points, Anahjae David & Amy Harrington with two points each.
Sun: Kai Daughtery eight points, Henasie Crisp four points.
 
Division 3 (7th and 8th grade boys)
Indiana Pacers 25, New York Knicks 12

Knicks: Darian Vidal seven points, Keimon Jacobs-Barrows five points.
