CHESHIRE, Mass. — Authorities are continuing the search for a local woman missing since Friday morning.
Paula Kelsey, 77, reportedly went for a walk on Friday morning about 7:25 in the area of Richmond Hill and Windsor Road and has not returned home. It's believed she may have become disoriented and lost her way.
Local police and firefighters started a search for her Friday but reduced the effort later in the night. It resumed in full on Saturday with the assistance of state police and the Berkshire Mountain Search and Rescue Team.
Kelsey is described being thin and with red hair and wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, black and white leggings, and white shoes. Authorities say she is in a state of "altered mental status."
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Adams Police Department at 413-743-1212, Ext. 0.
