“WHEN THE ROAD NARROWS”
Becket, 6 - 7 p.m.

Join local author Richard Sgaglio for a reading from his recent book, "When the Road Narrows," followed by a Q&A about the book and his writing process.  Set against the backdrop of the 1980s and the emerging AIDS crisis, the novel is an LGBTQ+ coming-of-age story that follows Nick, a young man struggling to reconcile his traditional upbringing with his emerging identity. As he navigates love, fear, loss, and self-discovery, Nick confronts the realities of a world that often asks him to hide who he is. Marked by personal loss, emotional struggles and the pursuit of redemption, the novel explores what it means to move forward while carrying pieces of the past. At its heart, it is about finding the courage to live authentically, even when the road narrows. Emotional, honest, and deeply personal, it speaks to the universal need for acceptance, connection, and a sense of belonging.   Refreshments will be served!   RSVP appreciated.
