Linda Lemieux, 70
ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Linda S. (White) Lemieux, 70, of Adams died on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, on February 22, 1948, a daughter of the late Theodore and Ethel (Sutton) White. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from the Charles H. McCann Technical High School in 1966.
Mrs. Lemieux last worked as a bus driver for the former J.T. Bus Lines, Clarksburg. Earlier she had owned and operated the former “Hair Salon” on Park Street in Adams.
She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, and was a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was also a longtime member, past president and past district president of the Auxiliary of the VFW 996, North Adams. She enjoyed playing in the pitch league at the Grille, Adams.
Her husband, Arthur “Butch” Lemieux, died on February 15, 2008.
She is survived by her two sons, Aaron Gazaille and his wife Amoreena of Savoy and Dana Gazaille of Adams; one sister, Mary Risch of Adams; three grandchildren, Desarai, Bree and Brodie Gazaille; and a niece, Johanna Risch.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, McKinley Square, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours are Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Auxiliary of the VFW 996, 573 Mohawk Trail, North Adams, MA 01247.
