William J. Pasotti, 92

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — William Joseph Pasotti, 92, of North Adams, Mass., died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center.

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on September 26, 1926, son of Gentile Gaspar and Jennie Esther (Montagna) Pasotti. He attended Drury High School. Bill was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater.

Bill worked at Sprague Electric Co. for almost 40 years until his retirement.  He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church and was a member of VFW Post #996.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music and gardening.  Bill was also known for his inventions, including a violin.

Survivors include nieces and nephews and a grandniece and grandnephew.  He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, including Rose Pasotti, Lena Galli, Angelo Pasotti, Charles Pasotti and Louis Pasotti.

Funeral notice: A graveside service for William Pasotti will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
