Marcella A. Kalisz, 68
ADAMS, Mass. — Marcella Ann Kalisz, 68, of Adams died Monday, February 11, 2019, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in Adams on September 21, 1950, daughter of the late Henry and Sophie (Leja) Kalisz. She graduated from St. Stanislaus Elementary School, and from the former Adams High School with the Class of 1968. She also graduated from the former Berkshire Business School in Pittsfield.
Marcy last worked at the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams for several years.
Her church was a very important part of her life, and she was a lifelong communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She enjoyed shopping, family gatherings, music and dancing.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carole M. Kalisz of Williamstown; a niece, Mary Boyle, and her husband, Alex, of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; a nephew, John Kalisz and his wife, Jaime, of New Lebanon, N.Y.; her great nephew and great niece, Gabriel and Grace Kalisz; as well as several cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother, Henry J. Kalisz, on March 13, 2012.
Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at 9 a.m. from the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, celebrated by Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus School or to BCARC, through the funeral home.
