Matt was a wonderful man, and he will be dearly missed. He was a kind and generous man who often helped others, especially the elderly. My condolences to all of his family. I know he loved you all as he often spoke about you. I am sorry I am not able to make his services.

Matt was a selectman when I covered Adams for The Transcript. He was pleasant and professional and a genuinely kind man. My sympathies to his family and friends at this most difficult time. I know he'll be missed.
