Beverly A. Trombley, 77

LEE, Mass. — Beverly Ann Trombley, 77, of Lee died unexpectedly Tuesdsay, Dec. 10, 2019.

Mrs. Trombley was born on April 9, 1942, in Lee to the late Edward R. “Happy” and Irene C. Burns Navin. She attended Lee High School, where she was the lead majorette and a 1960 graduate. After high school, Beverly attended Albany Medical Center School of Nursing, where she earned her degree in Nursing. Bev worked at Albany Medical Center as a charge nurse in the Operating Room until her retirement in 2007. After her retirement, she worked as a private duty nurse for numerous clients.

Bev was a strong advocate for her many passions, including many civic and charitable causes. She mostly enjoyed helping others and she spent much time researching her genealogy and Irish Heritage. Beverly was a member of First Congregational Church in Lee.

Beverly married the love of her life, Robert R. Trombley, in Lee. He predeceased her on January 20, 1994.

Bev is survived by her son, Christopher S. Trombley; her brother, William “Happy” Navin; three grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Pat Navin of Ashland, Mass.; her brother-in-law, Millard “Mal” Eckert of Lee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Besides her husband and parents, Bev is predeceased by her son, Robert F. Trombley; her siblings, Robert E. and Edward P. Navin, and Dolores I. Eckert; and her niece, Irene Navin.

Funeral notice: Funeral service for Mrs. Beverly Ann Trombley will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Lee with Rev. Bill Neil, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bev’s memory may be made to the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240, to help offset funeral expenses.
