Lance could be found making his rounds throughout downtown North Adams on almost any day. If there was a construction project he was there, watching perhaps even supervising as the men worked. Everyone knew him and it was a bright spot for us to see this silent observer watching out for all of us in North Adams. Lance I hope you rest well and find peace in heaven.

I am very saddened to learn of Lance's death. He was a very sweet person who I enjoyed encountering all around town over many years. Sometimes he would ride his motorized scooter chair from downtown North Adams all the way to North Adams Airport and hang out at the picnic table. He will surely be missed. God Bless You, Lance.
