Sandra Belanger, 75
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Sandra Lee (King) Belanger, 75, of New Port Richey, Fla., died June 12, 2020, in New Port Richey.
She was born in North Adams, Mass., on July 27, 1944, a daughter of Lloyd J. and Eleanor (Bechard) King. She attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1962. Sandra worked at Sprague Electric Co. as a manager in its quality assurance division and later worked at Col-East and CHP. She was last employed at Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan and Collins Insurance Agency until her retirement.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.
At one time, Sandra served as a Den Mother for the local Cub Scout Troop and worked on the Santa Fund. She enjoyed working on committees both in Massachusetts and at Colony Cove in Florida. She moved to Florida in 2000. Sandra loved going on cruises and vacations and tried visiting every island in the northern hemisphere.
She was the widow of William Louis Belanger, who died on July 18, 1991. They were married on April 4, 1964.
Survivors include her son, Mark W. Belanger of Cheshire, Mass.; her longtime companion, Vincent Guntlow; nieces and nephews; and her many friends at Colony Cove in New Port Richey.
Funeral notice: A graveside service for Sandra Belanger will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at 11 a.m. in Southview Cemetery.
