Lucille Ryan, 81
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Lucille Lorinda (Gagner) Ryan, 81, of Clarksburg passed peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2020.
Lucille was born on February 20, 1939 in North Adams, Mass., to Lorinda (Cyr) and Frederick Gagner. Lucille attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School. She served in the United States Air Force until she left to raise her family. Lucille married Gilbert Ryan and together they raised four children. She was primarily a homemaker, but also owned Gibby’s Package and Variety with her husband and was employed at JC Penney and United Cerebral Palsy, serving the unique needs of people with disabilities.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Gilbert, who cared for her; her children Cheryl Ryan (John Kut) of Adams, Deborah Ryan (John Treacy) of Valhalla, N.Y., Michael (Lisa) Ryan of Adams, and Daniel (Erin) Ryan of Salem, N.H.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Libby" Ariazi, Sean Ryan-Kut, Siobhan, Sean, Margaret and Patrick Treacy, and Nicholas, Madison, Timothy, Christopher and Jason Ryan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Lucille cherished vacations at the beach with her family and loved reading and doing both jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Her “special” homemade lasagna was requested at all family functions. She was a lifelong animal lover, especially cats, so she requested donations to be made in her memory to the Berkshire Humane Society.

Donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home- 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.
