Clara B. Wilusz, 54

CHESHIRE, Mass. —  Clara B. (Poulen) Wilusz, 54, of Cheshire, died Friday morning, January 22, 2021, at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. She was born in Danbury, CT on June 11, 1966, a daughter of the late Gary and Sybil (Wallach) Poulen. She moved to Bennington, VT as a child, and attended Bennington schools, graduating from Mt. Anthony Union High School. Clara loved working with children as a paraprofessional at Hoosac Valley Elementary School in Adams for many years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, North Adams, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, picking berries and fishing. She is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Wilusz, whom she married on June 13, 1987; her daughter, Emily D. Wilusz of Dover, NH; two brothers, John Poulen of Bennington, VT; and Charles Poulen of Troy, NY; two sisters, Sandra Poulen of Guilderland, NY and Dorraine Buell of Bennington, VT; her mother-in-law, Ruth (Alibozek) Wilusz of Cheshire; her sister in law, Lisa Wilusz of Florida; an aunt, as well as several nieces and nephews and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date, when all can gather safely. There are no calling hours. Emily, I was so very sad to find out your mom had passed. Working with her was a joy. She was so kind to everyone. Above and beyond all, she adored you. She always beamed when talking about you. I am so very sorry for your loss.
