Robert Shepardson, 79

LENOX, Mass. — Robert E. Shepardson, 79, of Lenox, died Sunday evening at his home.

Born in Pittsfield October 18, 1941, the son of Hugh and Sylvia Vincent Shepardson, he attended local schools, was a 1960 graduate of Lenox High School, and later attended Vaughan's Barber College in Hartford, Conn.

Bob worked as a barber from 1964-69 at various shops. He was employed for many years as a Papermaker, first at Kimberly Clark Co. and later Schweitzer Mauduit, both in Lee, retiring several years ago.

He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to share his knowledge of hunting and fishing with his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Lenox Sportsman Club.

Bob and his wife, Jacqueline Cockrill Shepardson, were married in Lenox Sept. 6, 1965.

Besides his wife of Lenox, he is survived by his three sons; Darren R. Shepardson (Shannon) of Kingsville, MD., Brian E. Shepardson (Nicole) of Lenox, and Jeremy H. Shepardson (Tanya) of Lenox Dale; grandchildren Cooper and Hunter Shepardson and Max Shepardson; and one brother Raymond Shepardson (Sheila) of Housatonic. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers David and Hugh Shepardson.

Calling hours for Robert E. Shepardson of Lenox will be Thursday evening from 4-6 pm at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME. Private burial will be later at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Bob's memory may be made to Hospice Care of the Berkshires or the Lenox Sportsman Club, both in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA. 01240
