Madelyn Lego, 81

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Madelyn Carol Lego, 81, of North Adams died on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center. Madelyn was born on December 27, 1939 in Pittsfield, MA a daughter of the late Ruth & Harold (Harding) McDonough.

   Madelyn attended Crane School in Pittsfield and worked in the cafeteria at Northampton hospital. Madelyn was married to William Robert Lego; he died on April 16, 2021. Madelyn loved to watch movies with her late husband Bill; they did this at home and even together in the nursing home. William and Madelyn were very devoted to each other. 

  Madelyn especially loved her two cats that she leaves behind, Psycho and Sweetheart. In her spare time Maddy would draw pictures of butterflies and she loved jewelry, often complementing others on their pieces. She used to sing “You are my sunshine” with the staff at North Adams Commons. She was always smiling and enjoyed being social. Madelyn will be dearly missed by all the staff at North Adams Commons where she has resided since 2015.FUNERAL NOTICE: A service to celebrate the life of Madelyn Lego will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.
