Steven J. Neathawk, 71

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Steven John Neathawk, 71 of Castleton, VT has passed away. He was born in North Adams, MA on April 7, 1950 a son of the late Eugene Neathawk and Katherine (Crawford) Mazza. He attended schools in North Adams including the former St. Joseph High School.

Steven was a decorated veteran of the United States Army serving as a communication lineman. He was an accomplished carpenter and was employed by his brother at Charles Neathawk siding. He enjoyed bass fishing and loved his Corvettes and Cadillacs.

Survivors include his longtime companion and caregiver Donna Kay Alexander, daughter Tracy Neathawk Maynard (Robert) of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Travis Steven Prindall, Marissa Maynard, Kyle Maynard and Whitney Cole; Four great grandchildren Mason Steven Prindall, Jamison Maynard, Lilianna Sweener and Evelyn Sweener. A sister Linda Snow (Paul) of North Adams and four brothers Carl Neathawk (Diane) of Georgia, Leon Neathawk (Debbie) of Buffalo, NY, Charles Neathawk (Tala) of Stamford, VT and Robert Weeks (Lynn) of Bangor, ME. Steven also leaves his wife Sandra Neathawk (Bertrand) of Adams, MA and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of "The Chief" Steven Neathawk there will be no calling hours. Private burial with military honors will be in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com
