Linda Konopka-Ethier, 62

CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Linda M. Konopka-Ethier, 62, of Clarksburg died Friday morning, Nov. 26, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born Sept. 1, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rose Wnuk Konopka of Adams.

Linda attended Adams schools and was a graduate of Hoosac Valley High School, the former North Adams Regional Hospital's Radiology Program and North Adams State College.

At the time of her death, Linda was retired. Earlier she worked at North Adams Regional Hospital, Information Alliance, GE Plastics in Pittsfield, Billmont's Country Store in Stamford, Vt., and was last employed in the Development Office at Williams College.

Linda often spoke about her travels to Spain, Hawaii and Disney World.

Linda leaves her sisters Kathy Holland and her husband, Steve, and Cynthia Laplante and her husband, Michael, all of Cheshire. She also leaves her niece Amber Chalmers and daughter Skylar of Adams and her two beloved cats Maddy and Bailey. Linda also leaves her estranged husband, Paul Ethier of North Adams.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services to celebrate the Life of Linda Ethier will take place on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greylock Animal Hospital's Angel Fund or to PopCares. I was surprised and saddened to hear about Linda. She was my coworker and friend at Williams. We had just talked the week before. A wonderfully kind and thoughtful person. She will be missed by all who knew her ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. While I hadn’t seen her in quite some time, I often thought about the wonderful family get-togethers when we would get a chance to catch up and share a laugh or two. My thoughts are with you all.
