Sherry Wein, 73

Sherry Wein, 73, of North Adams, the loving mother of Aaron Wray, passed away on December 3, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Jacqueline (Winer) Wein of North Adams. She is survived by her son, Aaron; her lifetime companion, Robert Wray; her sisters, Paulette Wein of Adams and Roberta Sullivan of Roanoke, VA, and her brother, Lawrence Wein of Palo Alto, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends across the country, in addition to her dear neighbors on Brooklyn Street in North Adams.
Sherry graduated from Drury High School in North Adams in 1966 and from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, in 1970. In her early years, she worked as a teacher in the New York City public school system and then taught fourth grade at Sullivan School in North Adams, retiring in 2011.
Donations in Sherry’s memory may be made to Images Cinema in Williamstown, c/o the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. No flowers, please.

Funeral services will be held at Congregation Beth Israel, 53 Lois St. North Adams, MA. on Tuesday December 7,2021 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery in Clarksburg; those joining us for the funeral are asked to please mask and maintain social distance. The memorial services will also be streamed over Zoom; for those of you who wish to attend this service online, the Zoom information is below. The family will observe one night of Shiva on Tuesday night, December 7th at the Congregation Beth Israel from 7-9 P.M with a short service at 7:30 P.M. The Shiva service will also be shared in the CBI Zoom room for members and friends who want to join digitally; please see below for Zoom information.
