George M. Bertoli, 85

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  George Michael Bertoli, 85 of Port Orange, FL died on September 25, 2019.

He was born on September 21, 1934, a son of Helen (Cumberland) Bertoli and George Bertoli. George operated, along with his father and brother, the Bertoli Oil Co. in Adams for many years until his desire for “Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude” and moving, with his wife, Peggy Bertoli and his stepson, Phillip Trimarchi, to South Daytona in the Sunshine State of Florida in 1973. He was survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (Gomeau) Bertoli, his stepsons- Phillip F.M. Trimarchi and Rocco Trimarchi, his “Well-Loved” grand-daughter- Eva Marie Trimarchi, his sister- Marilyn O'Brien, his sister-in-law- Carol Bertoli, his two beloved nieces- Carolyn Burnette and Deanna Todd and his nephew- John M. Bertoli Jr. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen Bertoli and George Bertoli, his step-mother- Eloise Bertoli, his brother- John M. Bertoli Sr. and his brother-in-law Ray O’Brien.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for George M. and Peggy A. Bertoli will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS-CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 10-11AM. Memorial donation may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
