Anthony G. Trimarchi, 81

ADAMS, Mass. — Professor Anthony G. Trimarchi (Tony) was born in Adams on 5/11/1942 and died in Taichung City 402, Taiwan (R.O.C) on 8/28/23.

He graduated from Adams High School in 1960.

He is a US Army veteran.

He received a B.A. in Political Science from San Fransisco State University and an MSsc and PhD in American Studies from Syracuse University.

Professor Trimarchi taught History, American Culture and Constitutional Law.

He was a double Fulbright Professor and went to Beijing China when Nixion was President. He was a professor for many years in Tiawan Taipei and retired there.

Tony was an avid reader and published many scholarly papers.

He was predeceased by his parents, Millicent Brimmer Trimarchi and Anthony Rocco Trimarchi, and by his oldest sister Nannett Wiskowski. He is survived by his other four sisters Carmella Emerald, Betsey Cooper, Ruth Ellen Trimarchi, and Peggy Trimarchi and by his three brothers John Rocco Trimarchi, Joe Trimarchi and Dr. Tom Trimarchi and many nieces and nephews.

Condolences to the Trimarchi siblings and family. Some people journey through life with courage and compassion. This was Tony he left behind a trail that continues to inspire us. May he Rest in Peace.

So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. We enjoyed motorcycle rides with him almost daily while he spent his summers in Adams for many years. Then stayed in touch thru emails after that.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.
