Jesse P. Jayko, 34

ADAMS, Mass. —

Jesse Paul Jayko, 34, of Adams, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in North Adams on January 18, 1990, a son of Pamela J. (Oliveri) Jayko and the late William D. Jayko and attended schools in Adams and North Adams.

Jesse last worked for Casella Waste Systems in Brattleboro, VT. He was a former member of the Adams Outdoorsmen for Youth, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working with his uncle at the family farm in Cheshire.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Jayko, of North Adams; his children Colby Jayko and Layla Jayko; his brother Justin Jayko and his girlfriend Danielle, his niece and nephew, Chloe and Levi Jayko, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jesse’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Berkshire Medical Center for the excellent care and kindness they extended to Jesse and his family during his time there.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 2:00 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will take place at a later date. Calling hours are Saturday from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, directly before the funeral, in the funeral home.
