Since 1995 the Barrington Brewery has been serving our own Barn Brewed Beer and food made from scratch. We were the first brewery on the east coast to install a solar panel system that supplies solar-heated hot water for brewing and restaurant use.
We have always used local ingredients whenever they are available: seasonal produce from Taft Farms, Equinox Farm, and Howden Farm, and apples from Windy Hill Farm. We offer grass fed burgers and steaks from Northeast Family Farms and free range chicken from New York state. Our sausages are made by the Alpine Pork Store in Catskill, NY and Nodine’s Smokehouse in Goshen, CT. Our beer flavors many of our made from scratch dishes, including our Cheddar Ale Soup, chilis, barbecue sauce, salad dressings and famous Chocolate Stout Cake as well as our Beer-Steamed Sausage and Steak & Stout Sandwiches.
The owners of the Brewery also operate Crissey Farm, a beautiful banquet house located adjacent to the Brewery. Crissey Farm can accommodate functions from 40 to 200 guests. Visit our website for more information.

The COVID19 Pandemic has caused the restaurant industry to get creative. Crissey Farm has been a place to gather and enjoy food & beverages since 2008. In July 2020, we reinvented our space to be the outdoor spot to enjoy freshly shucked oysters, creative cocktails, craft beer & small bites. Our 4500 square-foot tent has been thoughtfully laid out to offer safe and casual outdoor dining. We look forward to seeing you.
