DALTON, Mass. — Wahconah senior quarterback Lane Grogan did most of the work for the Warriors as he compiled 130 yards rushing and three total touchdowns to give his team a 20-0 victory over Lee on Friday night.

With rain falling hard on Berkshire County all day long, Grogan was forced to use his legs more than his arm and it paid off for the Warriors.  Grogan got his team on the board right before half with a one-yard touchdown plunge, making it 6-0 at intermission.  In the second half he continued his ground attack, ripping off a 50-yard touchdown run.  The Warriors then sealed off the game in the third quarter when Grogan dumped the ball off to freshman Evan Garvey who took it 58 yards to the endzone.

Wahconah (5-1 Berkshire County, 5-2 overall) will face their toughest test of the season next weekend when they visit Mount Greylock (7-0, 7-0) on Friday night; kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
