PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Drury's senior captains, Jose Melendez and Alex Bush, accounted for all three of the Blue Devils touchdowns as they went on to beat Taconic 19-6 on Saturday afternoon.  Melendez finished the afternoon with a nine-yard touchdown pass and 120 yards rushing including a 34-yard touchdown run that got Drury (1-1) out in front early.  Bush scored a touchdown on the ground as well and made an impact on the defensive side with a interception and sack.

Drury's defense came up big all game long as they totalled three interceptions on the day.

Drury heads to Dalton on Friday night to take on Wahconah (2-0) at 7 p.m.
